A. The game world is immense. Not bad in itself, but it WILL cause you to get lost...I mean LOST.
You can't really get lost... aside from the dungeons. With fast travel its relatively easy to find yourself.

Combat is generic, just clicking and dragging the mouse. But its not really difficult, aside from dealing with spellcasters.

Thats something you really can't help with, graphics wise. Nearly all games were similiar in graphics. And you can't expect a unique town in every blessed dungeon and city with a world that size. Thats why Morrowind was toned down severely in size... they traded uniqueness with a smaller world rather than go with a massive world and a generic setting.

D. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO !!!
The game just drops you off after the intro,, and you are..literally..on your own. The game doesn't tell you where to start,,what to look for,,anything! This is, of course, ideal...if you have a year(RT) to play the game.
It does actually tell you where to go. Once you get out of Privateer's Hold, your supposed to make your way to Daggerfall. Within 7 days of travelling an event is triggered to get you started in the game.

Yay! for Daggefall fanboyism...

In my opinion DF has a more living world than Morrowind, as your enemies might send assassins after you. But the presentation is of course vastly inferior.

Daggerfall was great. I was addicted to it and played for hours on end, but it was buggy. It crashed and crashed and crashed. I don't know if all the problems were ever resolved. I learned a whole lot about computers just trying to get that game to run right. I've still got the box up in my closet and if I could figure out how to work those Old Games on New Computers software, I would play it again. I tried it awhile back and couldn't crank it up. The dungeons were mazes of hell and late at night a screaming lich would rocket me out of my chair. I would replay Betrayal at Krondor too. Forgot to add, I didn't think Battlespire was worth playing. It was all run here, do that, get some points. It's not really an RPG, it's action\adventure. I also got tired of looking at my character's butt for great chunks of time.
