okay, what does the lara croft mod do? does it create someone to follow you around, cus she's not going to like it if you accidently hit her (like i always do to my companions) and its not like the game isnt easy enough with just one person...

Man ur sooo right. I am a rookie, I dunno about you, but once I had 4 ppl following me to arious places.

They were all pretty good at fighting.

One of the them is Llmallater(sp?) and he casts a heavy shockball in combat that kills everyone

So annoying. I always hit the others with my sword as well!!!

Its not like BG with lock-on... this is realistic stuff!

yeah, its a little more real than some other games... that and you can steal almost anything. why in the world do you have FOUR people following you, you should never need more than one. also, as you progress, you'll find those characters arent good fighters, they just get in the way of your most powerful weapons.

hehe, it was a accident.

Is there item/spell that permanently absorbs damage as I really can't take many hits due to low HP.

I know the arch-mage of Vivec has an amulet that is ultra-powerful, but I don't get that until I finish all the game.

okay, get a grand soul gem (the yellow kind) and a weapon with soul trap. capture the soul of a golden saint and go to a temple where you have bribed their enchanter.

take an exquisite amulet and have the enchanter zap it with the soul gem into an amulet of healing, which is restore health 1-8 points (constant effect) so at any given second you are regenerating health. even with low hitpoints you will become nearly invincible to single enemies (unless they have reflect) and you will only need to rest to restore your magick (if your sign isnt the atronarch).

Constant restore health are among those items that make the game WAY too easy, IMO...

I had the robe of St. Roris, which, [pre-patch] restored and feathered constantly. Took all the fun out of the game.

eh, the robe of st roris was too powerful. it made the game ridiculously easy. im glad i have the GotY edition. i just dont like having to stop and rest, or to buy healing. since i dont use spells often, i dont need the rejuvinated spell poiints, so i just never rest.

Does that mean I turn into an Orgrim? ;p (mass regereration and able to reach high places)

Mmmm can u explain a few things about soul trap?

---Does it automatically trap a killed creature if i use soultrap weap or spell?

---Which gem will it go into? Do I have to select the gem?

---Where can I buy yellow ones?

---What are the largest creatures that will fit? I mean what relationship does creature size and spell I want enchanted have???

---Can I choose any item for any spell?

assuming you have a soul gem large enough, that the creature is not a human (it must be an animal or a daedra) and that it doesnt resist the soultrap spell.

---Which gem will it go into? Do I have to select the gem?

it will go into the smallest soul gem which can contain the soul. dont soul trap an ogrim if all you have is petty soul gems and a grand soul gem... since the ogrim can't fit in a petty soul gem, it goes to the largest soul gem, the grand soul gem. thats a wasted soul gem. in fact, once you get to a certain level, you dont even need to trap anything other than golden saints,
until then, dont carry any grand soul gems you find, store them until you can kill a golden saint.

---Where can I buy yellow ones?

go to google.com and look up UESP Morrowind quest walkthrough. look around at some of the information (BUT BEWARE-- all the information to all the quests is there, so it can throw your gaming experience as well). the normal grand soul gems can be found there, however, they can also be found as random loot. i've found around thirty five of them so far, and have most of them filled with golden saints.

---What are the largest creatures that will fit? I mean what relationship does creature size and spell I want enchanted have???

all creatures CAN fit into a soul gem. it isnt based on size, but rather the strenght of the soul. even one of the demigods in the game can fit in the unique soul gem "azura's star"

---Can I choose any item for any spell? certain items are better than others for certain spells. look at the thread i made called "a beginners guide to enchanting" to learn some basics on items to create and some tips on how to make them.

Rare to be able to buy an empty soul gem: ya gotta find or steal them for the most part. The first few grands [gold] you find are precious. DON'T waste 'em on anything but golden saints or ascended sleepers: any lesser souls [like dremoras or 'named' dagoths] won't give you the option of having a constant effect item enchanted.

Always save before enchanting: until your skill is very high, there's a good chance you'll destroy your gem and fail. Worth it to pay an enchanter for the first few items.

When paying for enchantment, it can pay to buy and use Bug musk before you start the process: enchanting is very expensive until the enchanter likes you. Always sell the enchanter something before you start. That gets their 'total cash' to change, so when you pay for the enchantment, your payment appears in their 'bank'. You can then sell them super expensive items that no one else in the [un-modded] game can afford. Effectively, you are 'trading' a glass, ebony or deadric item thats functionally worthless for something cool.

I like using belts for healing, recall, constant effect night eye, ce water walking, ce water breathing. Amulets for ce strength, ce personality, etc. I usually wear a couple of the pre-enchanted rings [Marrara's, Mentors, Ring of the Wind, etc], and rarely enchant more of them since I get tired of switching.
