only hammer in the game that is weightless!!! Also does minimunm 50 damage -maximum 50 damage IIRC. Look for daedric ruins near Tel Fyr, and then you find out you can't get in there! Fight tons of golems around them, find the slternate route through a nest of daedra and frost atronachs, and past a door with 100 lock level. There is a room with 4-5 daedra lords and a chest that floats over a pit of lava................With a lock of 100.

Thanks for all the tips guys, much appreciated! Aelia, I just bought a Chitin Bow and 100 arrows to go with it, so I'll try that out for a bit. Any easy practise kills in the area around Balmora? I've practised on the mudcrabs and Kwama foragers in the area, but most human opponents are hard to kill for me. At first I sometimes killed Scribs when I saw them, until I learned they were BABY Kwama!

Oh and as I said in the opening posts, I only just started to play this game people, so I skipped all the spoilers and parts about greater soul gems etc. Dude, I'm only level three, I don't wanna know about all that yet! I think I blew my chance getting those gems from Galbedir BTW, I already did the Ajira quests. That means she won't leave the room again right? Damn.

Oh sorry, one more thing. I tried searching for this, but couldn't find any topics.
This guy at Fort Moonmoth who's said to want to talk to you (Larrio something?) - where the hell is he? I went to the Fort, talked to all the merchants, became an Imperial Cult member (I think. The one where you have to pay 50 drakes to become a lay member. Their requirements fitted my character to a T) but I couldn't find whoever it was that was looking for me. What am I missing (it's probably something really stupid. )

Melusine, unless your marksman skill is at least 30ish, you'll have a very hard time hitting anything.

I should point out that you only improve a skill when you exercise it successfully. So if you miss with you arrows, you won't get better, and you won't hit often with a low score. Find a trainer somewhere, or, if marksman isn't a major or minor skill, go back to using a blunt weapon.

The cult is definitely your type of of guild. They have a lot of quests where persuasion/personality is helpful.

P.S. if you tell us what your major / minor skills are, we can give you some pointers on how to improve your particular chararcter. Stats, too, maybe?

Cheers!

Thanks mate, that's some really helpful advice! I already noticed about the Marksman thing and switched to my trusty old mace again.

I'll go and check my Major and Minor skills now, I keep forgetting them.

look nice though I see you have 2 weapon skill and 2 armor skill. generally it's wise to have only one type and stick to it. anyway don't worry about that..

the guy you want is in the room next to the those merchants. there's a stair that goes down the room.

Thanks, but err... I still don't get it
I thought I checked all the rooms, and the only stairs I found were the ones in the prison towers. The guy I'm talking about (I checked) is Larrius Varro. I did talk to the guy in the room left of the merchants, the one who makes you a lay member of the Imperial Cult. Is that the one you mean as well? Because that's not the person I'm looking for...

from the entry door go right ( until the wall ), move straight up and go down the stair ( you won't be passing any doors). you will enter a room full of beds and there's one guy ( fully uniform ) stadning there. he is the guy you seek.
