It sounds like some of you, need to get the
Morrowind FPS Optimizer.
Also need to have a look at your video card
settings.
(switch from hardware mode to software, switch real time shadows off, render distance cut etc.)
There are quite a few adj's that you can make.

Strange! The game cannot quit itself (you can take a coffee break while waiting for quitting the game), it cannot reload (the same) but it crashes very fast
I got as good as the same system specs but i rarely crash, guess i am lucky...

I used to run on a P4 1.3 with 392MB (or something like that) and I hardly ever crashed on that.

Yeap, it's your system. Ya see that wintel proc is joined by the vidan to gain force. Thereby using HT technology to save and reload the game before your video card changes screen shot. With only 1 Gig of RAM you should also notice some slight twinkle effects on the bottom left of your display around the 240 or so minute mark.

I find it hard to beleive that you and the kids have played for 200 hrs. Maybe a couple here and a couple there, but 200? Impossible, we all need some sleep, and food, and hygiene, and what not.

For the rest of the non bragart world.
Other questions that come to mind.
1. Patched?
2. Plug-ins?
3. How many Plug-ins?
4. Which plug-in created the series of crashes.
5. What is running in the back ground? Remember to turn off non needed items, and surely remember to shut down Virus scan.

Finally the mouse issue.
A little secret here. This game has a slight memory leak, I can't remember how much, but very low, something like 1 bit every cycle. So, after a couple hours you will start to get input confusion, "keyboard, mouse, joystick" are all inputs. The less memory you have the sooner you will experience it. Two ways to fix. Set timer for 90 minutes, complete game save, restart computer. Or, Add more memory, add more time to clock. I have 512MB and recycle every 120 minutes.

Well...I happen to be running way down on the lower end of things...700MHz, 192 Mb of SDRam, and a GeForce 2 (64 Mb, DDR), and I don't have numerous enough problems to stop playing the game...oh, and Felix, there's a program that was originally made for Windows ME that defrags RAM...and reclaims it, and puts it back into the cycle...called MemTurbo...helps a lot.
