I think this may be the problem, as she says i will have to decide where my loyalty lies, as the fighters guild will help the tong's attack the thieves guild.

that's not the problem. I have joined both thieves guild and fighter guild AND have become grandmaster in BOTH guild. so I am very suprise to hear why people having problem with both guild.

shes picky about who she will give the book to some people can bribe her to 100 and she still wont give it, others can bribe to 80 and she'll happily just hand it over, pickpocketing it off her is the best way just dont get caught.

I wasn't saying it is impossible to be grandmaster in both guilds, but you have to be a bit careful with some fighters guild quests.

I tried to taunt into attacking me. I tried to pickpocket her to get it. I tried to woo her with my charm and failed... So, I got really pissed and killed her in cold blood for the book. I was in the fighters in the thieves guild and I had to pay 1k to get back in the thieves guild. Oh well, she should of just gave me the book when I asked for it.

funny thing is after i stole the book and came back to her later she knew i had stolen it but didnt seem to care or do anything about it, nor did it affect my status with her, shes 100 towards me [img]smile.gif[/img]

well in the end i taunted and taunted, bribed a little and taunted some more, eventually she attacked me, at which point i butchered her.
Hvae you noticed something a bit wrong with the realism of the game, if you attack anyone everyone attacks you, but if someone attacks you, what help do you get from the other people....

That's not such a bad thing... you needn't worry about butchering a "helper" while swirling around your mighty DaiKatana. Other people tend to get in the way.
