Another thing is to save the good ones to enchant them, or don´t steal from the dead!!

I guess we are to spoiled with the hamster-warrior games out on the market, everything valuble goes down the backpack..

A very good idea. Why really care about how much an item is worth? Sell it for whatever gold an NPC has and you still get cash for it. More than likely you've stole it anyway, so anything you get will be a profit. I've done this on more than one occasion.

In R/L, thieves often have trouble 'finding a buyer' for their stolen artworks for example.
