well I plan on playing as an elf, maybe a kind off Legolas figure, with bow and arrows and Scimitars or longswords, but we shall see how it goes. i could pm you with a biography a bit later on tonight Larry. If that sounds OK.

Alright...as promised, this game is to get under way.

I am officially opening it for gaming.

As I sit here, in the darkness since my 10 week old is asleep a few feet from me, I try to strategize a plan for this to start off in a good manner and not so chaotic that I lose somebody in the cracks.

Let's see....gimme a minute and I will draw up a plan on characters.

Tao: You already know your scene and your conditions. You are ready to post at will. Please provide the newbies with something about you, without revealing too much.

Skye: When you are back and ready to RP, contact me by PM. I will give you your predicament.

dplax: You already know what to do. Post at will.

Ross: You need to find a starting place and a reason to be travelling. Post this reason and where you will be heading, and that will start you off.

RevRuby: You already know the conditions of your character(s). Pick a starting point and a reason for travel, then post them. When you are on the road, I will begin with you.

Legolas: You already know the situation with your character and his relationship to things happening in the world. Get started on the road, but be close by. Closer than the other players that are travelling, perhaps. I know you are already aware of how you plan to start posting. I will have posts up for you when/if I see a need.

Morgeruat: Your ideas are good. I do not have an idea yet on certain aspects of your character that you asked me about, so please watch the posts of the others to get a feel of how your's needs to be adjusted. That is as fair of an idea as I can make it. Think external balance.

Elif G: I am starting you off at the Tavern of the OEW where Larry and Rhianneth are staying.

Mistral: You know where you are, and what has happened to you. You may begin at any moment. Consider your first post a waking up from sleep in the upstairs bedroom.



I think that is everyone. Everybody already should have a good idea about the Mage, but your characters may or may not know. I leave that up to you to let them find out about him. It will also be in your hands on whether or not you know of Larry Silverfall, his link to the Mage, and if you trust him or not. Again...it is in your hands to decide that. Nobody should know much os Rhianneth, however. She is not one that gets mentioned easily. Get to know her as you would a newcomer.

How does this sound to everyone? Is there any problem? If not, then GAME ON!

Notes:

1. Some of you already know, but for those that are new, please post all discussion about the game here. If you post anything in the actual game thread, please make it a character post, and you can add an OOC in there, but do not just post OOCs that have no character dialog. Those belong here. This is where we talk outside of character. OOCs are fine inside the game as long as they are accompanied by real work.

2. Please follow this guide: Larry Silverfall 13/13
That 13/13 is his life points, of course.

3. Please submit to me if you have not already, enough stats about your character that I can recreate him/her on my NWN module for this game. I will be using that game as my DM's battle-planner and guide for you all.

4. This will be a game mixed with storyline and combat, so you have to be able to express yourselves artistically, as well as be ready for lots of action to engage in. I may sometimes excuse your character to non-combat areas if you beg.
5. Please do not be afraid to die in this game. If death occurs, then it occurs. I will work with the dead individual to bring him back to life at a cost. Does this sound fair?

6. Level-ups and rewards will be given to people who excel in conditions.

7. I am not a professional game master. I love to write, I enjoy combat games, and I have alot of fun posting here with you guys. Please do not expect me to give up homework, playing with my children, or cooking dinner for my wife to be here to post day and night. I will be as dedicated to this game as life allows me to. I love it and want to do good here for myself and for all of you.

8. If somebody becomes innactive for a period of time, and we hear nothing from that person explaining when we can see him/her again...I have ways of dealing with your character...and they will not be pleasant. Your comrades may have to save your arse in a quest if you really piss me off!

9. PM me at any time if you have suggestions or would like a special request. I am not above listening to my players.

10. Nothing else to say...I just wanted 10 things.

I play on a different level... not to say I'm better..

Just that I have a different style of playing..

As with Tao, my style of RP isnt based on a system of Points. My dragon character has three to four major magics, and the potent scales for shielding his body.
