After hearing what the elder had to say he immediately picked up his cell phone again and starting talking this time in a language that was comprised mostly of clicks and whistles. No one could tell what he was saying but, it sounded as if he was haggling with somone.

Bakilas stands and leaves the table to mingle with the humans in the casino. After winning some bets (vampire powers are useful when playing craps and blackjack) he picks his victem and approaches her.

Bakilas looks into the woman's eyes, "Hello there, why don't you come with me? Lets go for a walk." He then walks out a side exit into an alley with the seemingly dazed victem following closely behind him.

Thalali Talking to Storm

As soon as the elder had finished his talk he excused himself from the table and approached a vampire with brown hair and green eyes. He looked the age of 27 though all vampires looked moderately young. He looked just as confused as he was and asked him,"Did you have to leave a family too? I just can't get over the fact that I may never see them again!" He took a deep breath and sighed, waiting for the vampire's answer.

"Sir, I am glad to see another that shares my thoughts. I am quite removed from any feelings that our new brethren share and desire nothing more than to return to the arms of my widowed wife, but to them I must remain dead. Still, to turn from that life and to face the fact that vampires exist in this world is a terrible revelation to me, yet I am helpless in the matter. Sooner or later, I fear that I may turn into one of them." Storm gestured toward the table and particularly the one on the phone.

"The name's Storm, friend. They tell me that I must belong to the clan of the Toreador, whatever that means! Pleasure to make your aquaintance."

"My name is Thalali. It's nice to know there is someone with my feelings about this. They say I must belong to a group call the Ventrue, but I have no clue what it means."

"I feel guilty for staying at work late, thats the whole reason I was bitten. I guess this is what I get for not spending more time with my family."

Cornelius quickly ended his telephone conversation and made his way to the appointed meeting location, pausing only briefly to glare menacingly at the duo and mouth, "what a waste," with disgust under his breath as he made his way out.

Storm to Thalali

"What was that guy's problem? He acts as though we want to be here, as though we could chose to be who we are! I merely live because I fear the sun too much to bask in its killing light. I bet he'd cry if we took his toy phone away from him. Bastard demon. Come on, join me over this way and tell me of your life, and what you have had to endure to be here."

Storm leads Thalali over to a table where his intrigue at finding another person-made-vampire that shares his views keeps his attention as they talk about their new unlife.

Bakilas drops the body of his victim into a nearby bin and wipes the blood from his lips, with a content grin he walks back into the casino.

He sees the two newly turned vampires conversing amongst themselves and sneers, "Bah, weaklings... why must I put up with them as well as these Camarrilla fools?"

She bit her lips almost immediately, acutely aware of the deep shame that was washing across her cheeks ~ Thank goodness it's dark now... how could I be so... so superficial?! ~ Her right hand gripped the handbag strap subconsciously.

"A g... good Christmas Eve to you, ma'am." ~ The words managed to tumble out after all, along with a somewhat strained smile.

Thalali followed Storm over to the table, he was relieved that he found someone who didn't want to be a vampire.
"I can't believe the way vampires treat humans, Like cattle it's surprising that the government or someone hasn't stumbled upon them yet."
Thalali sighed and took a sip from his alcoholic beverage. He struck up conversation with Storm again about the good old days when they knew nothing of vampires but myths and fairytales, and spoke about their families.
