Chapter 1: Gregor Wolfsheim's party (for Odin Magnus, Sir Byronas, Lucre and Regin)

Byronas hears the dwarf and with a smile he starts talking to him. "My name is Byronas Stormcloud. I am a great Paladin, believe me. I am here to ask Gregor Wolfsheim a favor to put me under the Crown Guard as a mercinery. What about you? We both know that you don't fit here at all."

[Sir ReGiN]

*Really?
Well then, Byronas, I guess I should introduce myslef.
I am Regin Strongarm, and this, is my axe...if you prove to have evil intentions against me or Lucre here, you shall have to meet him on the way to your skull..understand?
Now that we have cleared out that, why don't you tell me more about this..Gregor..*

Regins waves to Lucre, *Hey, Lucre! Come here...I think you should listen to this. By the way, this is Byronas Stormcloud.*

The following are common information (some from streets rumors, and some from stories) about Lord Gregor Wolfsheim:

He is the leftwing commander of the Crown Guards, command one thousand soldiers of Knights of the Ospreyeagle

Lord Humbey Kurasgar commands central body of the Crowd Guards, his soldiers are called Knights of the Thunder as well as a division of Elite soldier called the Executioners.

Lord Argiar T'Sarzkur commands the rightwing of the Crowd Guards, his soldiers are called Knights of the Whitetiger

Gregor Wolfsheim is the least politically ambitious commander among the three lords. He befriended the merchants, and spoke strongly for his allies in the High Coucil. But he doesn't actively involve himself into any sort of movement and organizations. In fact, he remained a distance to every one else, even his own young and beautiful daughter Anastasia.

He rarely makes appearance to the general public, but his soldiers knew him well, and many would die for him.

He has a crazy obsession for fine collections of weapons.

He is very warmhearted to help newcomers, especially welcome discplined fighters, soldiers. He has a strange distaste for elves and halflings however.

As you are talking among yourselves, several harsh foot steps disturbed you as gatekeeper Galen entered with another two soldiers. Galen's eyes widened in anger when he saw the pair of dwarf and halfling, he pointed to them and yelled "it is them! they knocked me out!! This is outrageous!!!"

The guards approach the halfling and the dwarf, there are numerous guards around, all armed and watching the situation with alert, ready to lash out at the first sign of trouble.

I normally dont give away hint, but this is the beginning, as the game proceeds, I'll give lesser and lesser of those

"Wha? We did no such thing! Why would we knock out a guard for no reason," Lucre stammered "Look we even have a real invitation!"
Lucre showed the guards the invitation.
There was some confusion in the guards and they started to whisper amongst themselves as Galen boomed:
"Liars i saw you perfectly! Even Odin Magnus one of the Palace Mages must now he is no good just by looking at him!"

OOC: I wonder where Odin Magnus is

"Pardon me my lord!" Galen bite his lips and said the words between the teeth, trying very hard not to burst out, but pointed to the dwarf and said with a low tone: "Catch him, guards! for commiting crime against his Lordship!" He looked back to the main chapel, making sure he hadn't disturbed the nobles, and the ladies in the ball room.

Galen has no idea who this halfling is, but he figured the halfling couldn't be too influential other than rich, and he was angry that he was knocked out by the mannerless peasent dwarf. He actually took this as an insult on Lord Wolfsheim's name.


OOC: Lucre, you could get the paladin to interven if you can convince him this is a unauthorized arrestment

or you can try it on the mage (hard one)

another hint, this is a party... and the invited guests are all nobles... well behaved and educated [img]smile.gif[/img]

or you can just let them arrest the dwarf and try to resuce him later, **evil laugh**

Lucre whispered to the paladin,
" He hasn't done anything, this guard is speceist when we came in he even called him a "Bloody Rat Eater" and kicked his axe out of his hands when it was plain to see he was guarding me from unkown threats!Stop him before he takes him away!"

OOC: See what a good conman he is, just in case Byronas you don't know what happened at the gate ok.

Byronas heard Lucre.He says to Lucre"This will make me troubles but if you promise to help me find my weapons and all my equipment I might help your friend. I don't know but something says inside me that this is the right way. So waht do you say?"

Regin gets up from his chair, and takes a step back, towards the stairs..he fingeres his axe (as he always do in a situation ike this)...he is ready for combat.
But he sees Lucre, trying to convince Byronas the paladin, to help them from the guards. Regin decides he should wait to see if Lucre succedes, until he start knocking off the guards..

[Lucre]

Lucre whispered to the Byronas:
"I'll try but i am arlready adventureing to find a large treasure and help my friends, i can't promise that much. But is it not wrong for a paladin, you saying that is blackmail it should go against all things you hold dear!"
