The morning came.

The wyvern stared at you for a long moment

"Thank you, half drow. You saved my life, and so will I. The Zsskir'Takhan clan are in your debt."

The proud wyvern lowered his head slightly, bowing. Then he muttered a secret word, colorful lights began to dance on your left index finger. When the lights faded, you found yourself wearing a silver ring with a wyervn head carving.

"Say the name of Zsskir'Takhan anywhere in the open, me and my clan members will come in your aid."

"As for our old deal, I must say I do not have the spell to disguse you. Seek other roads, half-drow."

The serpent spreaded its wings, and made a graceful bow, then leaped into the air. Hanging beneth his talons is a golden chest, possibly his loot from yesterday's combat. The wyervn circled above you once, then headed southwest.

OOC: Silver Ring of Serpent Summoning

This ring let you summon 1 Wyervn once per day. The first time use, one greater wyervn appear, to save your life as promised.

the next time use it, you will only summon another regular wyervn (not a greater one), because it is no longer part of the deal.

The ring must be used in the open

command word Zsskir'Takhan must be whispered

He sets out at a strong pace. He hopes that he can catch them again before he loses the trail or they decide to change course.

250, can you take the private dm messages to pm please? Setting up scenes and giving individual characters story info for a game you mangage is really best done in private messaging or email. To see private messages, click on 'my profile'. To send one, click on the pm button in a person's post.

The herds of buffalos you set off had ran with intensive velocity towards the group. (Suppose the Wyvern you saved did a small favor for you.) Now you are in front of the unstopable waves of charging buffalos, and you are either going to stop them, or die with the rest of the group. You are not about to choose the later one.

You muttered a silent curse to your emplyer, the Nightstalkers, quietly noting that you will double the charge if you get out of this alive. You feel the ground tremble violently. Subcounciously griping your hands, you felt sweat. You saw a group of men on horses running away from the herd as fast as they could, but the herd is catching up.

They are coming...

I position myself so that the group on horseback are directly between myself and the buffalo. I then shout out to them to move as quickly as possibly towars me. They are only 60ft away. When they close to about 40 ft, I begin casting a web spell. I aim for a place that will put it directly behind the group, but in front of the herd just as I complete it.

The party ran towards you, Legolas leading the way. You finished your web spell. Now the Buffalos are charging towards the webbed area.

A dozen buffalos reached the webbed area and rammed into it. The grounds shaken violently as the herd torn webs along with grasses from the plains. Dusts flying all about, blocking the sun, and darkens the sky. Most of the buffalos that stumbled into the web areas are held tight but more and more flushed through ontop of their entangled kins...

A length of 20 ft line of buffalos are now 10 ft behind the main group, and that line is thinner than the whole herd. Some around the edge of the webs are taking up their trapped kins' places, the gap is getting smaller and thicker as the line approaches nearer...

Watching the gap close, the elven ranger Legolas realises there is not much time. He bends over in his
saddle and lifts you on his horse. Holding the wizard steady with one hand,
Legolas takes his dagger in the other. Not that it would do much good; the long dagger
would only enrage it. If it did die, it would be many minutes later from blood loss. But it
was better than nothing.
Steering the horse with his knees, Legolas urged his steed onwards, toward the gap in
the line. He noticed Shadow had already turned while Res was struggling to help
Vangard into a better position.
Discomfort mixed with a bit of pride flowed through the archer's body. This would never
have happened in the forest, he thought.

The gap is NOT open. It is a gap simply because there is a line of 12 ft where the buffalos ran in chaos, or fell behind other buffalos, but it is definitely not a gap one can ride through

I steady myself on the mount and thank the rider quickly. I then cast a dig spell just in the position in of the "gap" so as to force the buffalo to go around it and giving us an escape route from the stampede. (OOC up to you if it works or whatever...)
