Well, all things being equal, a ranger is better at fighting dragons if you chose them as a racial enemy. Ranger gets +4 bonus, cavalier only +3. Why bother with cavalier, I can't imagine.

It was said earlier by Avatar that Anomen can put 5 stars (grand mastery) in hammers "He can put 5* on the Crom Faeyr!" anomen is dualed FROM a fighter to a cleric. once you are a cleric, can you still add proficiancly stars to your beyond specialized weapons? I thought once you dual to a cleric, u cannot add proficiancy stars to any weapon if that weapon is beyond specialized. but if you can, cool. and if Anomen can..... wow....... i hate the guys personality.... but that would make him rather worthwile.........

Why choose a cavalier over a ranger, heres a few reasons..
1.Holy Avenger+5 2.20% resistance to fire and acid 3.Lay on hands and his ability to remove fear 4.Immunity to poison 5.+2 to all saving throws. 6.Immunity to Fear/morale failure 7.+3 to Dragonic AND Demonic creatures. Only drawback? No bows, but he can still use slings. There is also the race/alignment restriction, but other than that.. |
