why are my characters hp's not increasing?

That sounds about right for your level. Once you press the level up button you will get the HP increases. You only need to press it once, and EACH TIME the little cross thing appears on a character portrait.

Also check which difficulty settings you're using - if it's above Standard you don't get maximum HP increases as you level up - it will be random.

Domino,

75 is really a pretty good HP total for a starting (7th level) fighter with an 18 CON. If you are playing by the core rules (which I'm assuming you are) then 75 is decent. Since a fighter has HPs calculated witha 10-sided die per level, the most HPs you could have at 7th level with an 18 CON is 88 (if CON bonus is +3 HPs per level). If you are worried about it, then go into the configuration and select a select a lower difficulty level. There is a level where all HPs are calculated at max. Hope that helps!
