Fireball is great, buy a wand and you have loads of cheap fireballs,...good against shadows and undead. Those Paralyze wands are very effective too.

Anyone have experience with Mordenkainen's Sword? If so could you please give a better explanation than the guide does. I am especially interested in whether or not any treasure is left once this summons is killed (as I saw reported in a post).

Plenty. My sorceror had Mordenkainen's Sword. It works like a summoned creature but is immune to physical damage. Magical damage appears to hurt it. When A sword is 'killed', it drops a Green Amulet, which explains why it is unaffected by mental effects. Other than this, they are like any other summoned critter.
. . My favourite spell? Melf's minute meteors. It's like giving a wizard (or chicken) an Uzi ![]() |

Hmmm.........Abi Dalzim,
Plenty and plenty of abi dalzim can blast almost anything into oblivion. Also Time Stop is useful for running away from those pesky cowled wizards. ------------------ ![]() Greetings mortals, my name is Wah, Arch Lich Wah. |

Funny thing about Abanazzer's noxious fart is that the Cloak of Mirrors reflects it. Good for liches!
