ToB has improved the AI script that controls the combat actions of everyone's favorite pet flying skull. The demi-lich is now more fearsome, as per the description of the demilich (wail of the banshee howls, near-invulnerability to magic, imprisonment/trap the soul each round, etc.)

For all the old pencil-and-paper gamers: would that mages had access to Astral Spell (9th level)....

Hi Jan!

Another change from SoA to ToB has changed the little eye you get from the Wizard's Eye spell. The original (SoA) eye was invulnerable and invisible, so anything that could see invisible could see it, but nothing could hurt it. This led to many abuses, all of which revolved around using the eye as an indestructible tank.

Now (ToB) the eye is very vulnerable. That's why it dies so fast.
