Duct tape, by the way, is another one-piece gadget like the lightning rod, and can be used without needing anything else. It casts Paralyze, which can be handy in many situations, though its uses are limited.
It has always seemed to me that when we have a gadgeteer, the tape is never in Anna's inventory. Then again, without a gadgeteer, we don't look for it  |

I've already found the duct tape in Anna's shop, although it might be level dependant.

If you don't want to scroll all the way, the filter buttons are really helpful (imho). Just checking the backpack button would reduce the long list to only a few items which are easier to handle.
If you're not seeing the gadgets, it is possible that you run into the overflowing vendor bug. If Annas stock is full with arrows/stones and nothing else, try to buy away all those ammo. I've heard that items which she actually has in stock don't show up if the list is crammed with ammo. |

Gadgets not showing up in merchant inventories is a symptom of an unpatched version of the game. Are you playing 1.2.4 or something earlier?

I'm playing on 001b and the only thing that i can't buy where i'm supposed to be able to is the Book of Rocks. All the gadget parts are there.
