rawhide - your surviving party members share the experience equally from all the opponents killed during a battle, whether your party kills them or not.
a great example of this is in trynton, with a no-magic/throwing only party i ran. we couldnt reach the wasps the trynnies had surrounded up the path, so we had to sit and wait for them to do all the killing before combat would end - at which point we each received some cheap experience. not a rewarding gaming experience, but illustrative of the principles. |
