sorry, i know this is off-topic, but how do you avoid heli, zig? she has the best exchange rate for selling mixed potions and powders, or anything else (like the silver nugget or diamond), and has those best-healing-value-in-the-game bread rolls. just curious.

Not only that, but she'll tell on you even if you NEVER talk to her.

Sultan - I don't do the "making and selling potions" thing. Perhaps not enough patience. I seem to have enough money except at the very beginning when I couldn't mix them anyway (not enough Alchemy except for small stuff). Anna (bow/misc. shop) also will buy the diamond for about 8500. Never sold the nugget, didn't like being encumbered with it. Is it worth it? Maybe for a few thou.

I have tried the HeLi thing both ways (talking and not). Maybe it doesn't make much difference, could be other factors like the guy at the Umpani shop. This game I had to click the bad black box on a red Z'ant to give him the coordinates. He was friendly again after that.

If you carry the Silver Nugget on your cursor and hold it aloft as you wander around, it won't weigh anything. (be careful to drop it before attempting to click on a char, though--once you add to your inv in combat, even dropping stuff doesn't change the weight). It's worth a bunch o'bux, i forget how much, but it's around 40k.

Hallo,

I think making Z'Ant angry has something to do with the rescue of Sgt. Glumph.
It never happens to me if have finished all T'Rang quests before I go to rescue
him. In my games Z'Ant always went angry if I had rescued him before I managed
all T'Rang quests.
Because of dialog of Glumph I believ he is angry about his I.U.F. fellows and
after you brought him to Yamir he told the traitor you work for the Umpani and so Z'ant also knows it.

Have someone also discovered this?

Greetings

On that end of the map it's Kunar who betrays you, and the timing is the return of Glumph, not that Glumph has anything personally to do with it. If you turn in Kunar, or kill him, before coming in with Glumph, then the T'rang never hear from Kunar.

I have never had a problem with Z'ant turning on me, except when I wanted it to happen. After I ally with both sides I never talk to heli again. I also never bother with the black box for the coordinates, I just give it to him after he gives me the quest which is right after I come back with the Chaos Molari.

I've gotten Z'ant hostile even when I paid He'Li off. Is there any proof that Kunar can tell on you??

Well, I kill kunar at around lvl 7, especially if I don't have a way to steal his key and security card. I never talk to he'li after allying with both factions 'cos there's no need.

I don't kill off Kunar because he has great stuff. I only killed him off for the first time this round. I do all the T'rang quests (except the last one) first. Before I rescue Glumph. Kunar is one of the quests, in a way, so I'd rather get that one before he is history. More EP.
