This technique for raising Dual Weapons through use by using two throwing items one in each hand, works good!
You can, of course, move thowing items between your (character, not party) inventory and your equipped weapon slots. This is nice in case you run out of Throwing Darts or Daggers of some sort but have other ones in your inventory. You don't need an equip round for this like you would need, for example to equip a Sling. The game treats throwing items like "ammo" in this respect. This much is obvious. The one thing I have to add is that the reverse is also true. You may have your Rogue equipped with six beautiful Throwing Stilettos, but are suddenly facing one half-wilted weed, or something just as boring, and you don't want to waste them. Before starting the round just take them out of your equipped slots and put them in character inventory. You can equip cheaper ones, like Feather Darts if you have them in character inventory or just have no ranged attack that time (the former is better for the practice). It's useful while there is a scarcity. [ 09-04-2003, 06:08 PM: Message edited by: EEWorzelle ] |
