I think that off-hand sword is around 2% in critical whereas a stilleto is 10%. Sure the stilleto doesn't have nearly the damage, but pure damage really isn't what this character is about. Training in Arnika can easily get both sword and dager in the low 90's (and dual weapon) - just remember to use a sword and dagger during training the does little damage. Alternativly of course you could train the dagger skill latter by placing a double-strike dagger in the off-hand position.

party positioning is a topic not discussed often enough.

sure, your spell casters in the back row are facing the wrong way (who's silly idea was that for a default! at the very least it should be your choice to toggle), and they are susceptible to "attacks from behind" by extended range enemies, but this is a small price to pay to spread the primary attacks across the 4 characters now sharing front duty, particularly with this party which has no primary meatshield.
