Four member party?

i have tried two 4 member parties lately
btw, i've never actually beat the game but i've played lots of full member parties atleast 1/2 way through
the first one was a lord/nin/monk/sam combonation...
all the chars maxed out speed first (i think dex would have been better to do) and each learned their respective magics to the fullest (3 pts on skill, and most others on realms per level), well now they are on level 21-22 and i'm close to beating the game and this party is by far the most kick ass ive ever made
the lord uses diamond eyes/ivory blade
far ninja uses cane corpus, barlone was cake to beat for me...
the sam uses a fang/ ench wakizashi, maybe ninjato after i kill ferro lol
monk just moved to the back to let the ninja use the cane and he uses mostly the zatochi bow, but was raised on hand/feet attack so he excels in that very much, but the bow in my opinion is way better!!!
they all have around 20 AC and are getting to be good magic users, but i only use magic for defense in hard fights so it really doesnt matter too much...

for the other party i just started... i havent done any multiclass chars really yet so i decided to for this one...
1)start with female human fighter >> goes to mage after lvl 1 >> goes to ninja after lvl 2 >> will end up being a valkyrie using swords probably with killer magic abilities and stealth skill and critical strike!!!!!
2)start with mook (i think) ranger >> goes to a gadgeteer once i get the lightning rod so that i can build the scouting up a bit >> probably will go back to the ranger in late game using swords, gadgets (if he still can, ill experiment?) and bows
3)start with elf mage >> switch to bishop after lvl 1 >> end with bishop here probably... just a kick ass magic user who gets all the books
4)and last a non multi classer, but a char for fun a felpurr samurai who throws ninja stars (boomerang shuriken) and uses bos!!! sounded like a crazy character, oh he learns magic too i think... i might go rogue later, im not sure, perhaps i should have started him as one to get stlealth and stealing... damn...


the 2nd party is much harder than the first, but looks to be very promising even though im only at like level 4...

My little party of Monk (mart arts human), Samurai (dracon), Ninja (human then immediately to faerie for the armor), and Bishop (elf) is doing well but I haven't even fought Gregor yet. Does seem promising compared to some parties I have tried at this stage.

On the comments about class changing: make sure the chars have what it takes to switch classes when you want to. I mean the minimum int, senses, speed, whatever. See the manual for the stats. I once started a char as a mage and wanted to switch to a bishop (I think, it was a while ago). It took me 5 levs to get the stats to make the change. This is a warning on creating a party which has class-switching in mind.
