Great to read the answers to this - would not have thought of combining hex with a death cloud/bomb - logical but missed it completely!
My personal favourite early spell is whipping rocks - a lot of damage for a level 3 spell (more than fireball though restricted to cone) and if you can learn level three mage/alch spells then you can learn knock-knock and max your earth skill on the safe in arnika - so you start casting whipping rocks at level 5 in the green - and level 7 is already yellow - devastating for groups of plants/trynnie ghosts/siges/wasps/spiders/ants for the road, trynton and the swamp... It seems to be unanimous that dracon breath and itching skin suck - gotta agree. No-one mentioned quicksand? thought that was great! two bishops casting asphyxiation/quicksand at the same time can really get those big groups of rapax down to size [img]smile.gif[/img] |
