I did patch the game and used PP. I must say next game I unpatch and try it again. In the patched game it's just loosing dev point in the skill and not worth the effort to train. The only good thing I could get was throwing stuff for my ninja because it was a real pain to find. Else I never got something that the NPC did not sell.
