hehe...the first time i played through the demo my whole party got slaughtered by The Swallower. Turns out I had it on expert mode, and I didn't know that I had any buff spells...after I re-loaded and figured out i had bless and enhanted blade (and put it on normal difficulty) i whooped it, even if the faerie mage DID have to spend a couple of turns in the things stomach, hehe. other than that, I also died in the demo when i had a random encounter with 6 or 7 lvl 8ish slimes in the lower part of the monastery (my chars were lvl 6 or 7 at the time). anyway, i am still a raging newb, i dont even have the game yet...
