I have to give Stone a little credit by at least he is doing some PR by meeting with the victims kin and a donation from the films earnings. I am still not going to watch it though.

I'm not going to see it because it looks like a generally bad movie, and everything Oliver Stone touches turns to manure, not because of any moral objection I have to recreating the event itself. It looks like overacted, poorly written drivel. I wouldn't go see any movie like that anyways.

Columbine: A tragedy, true, but on this side of the world it's barely a ripple. The towers: Was it the assissination of JFK or Lennon for our parents? The single most memorable event in their lives, that is. In my life, i doubt any event will match the towers going down.

It's been five years. Nobody has forgotten it. Nobody needs reminding. Nobody knows too little about it that we need a movie to tell us. And i'm not even Seppo.

I'm certainly not going to see it, because it's really not the kind of movie I enjoy, sounds like a shameless attepmt to get cash.

But I think "How long should we wait?" is a ridicullous question. There's no magic time when it become ok for everyone. I'm sure some people would tell you it's too soon to talk about WW2's genocide.
