Make fun of Predator all you want, but it's universally known as the one movie that was able to get the audience to connect with, and like, the "meat" characters.
The audience being you?

Wasn't it essentially an update of a Jane Austin novel? I normally don't like Jane, but on occasion some of her books are pretty good, if you're in the right mood.

Killer Klowns From Outer-Space and Earthgirls Are Easy rank up there as bad-but-goods IMO.

And let's not leave out the Police Academy movies either.

Hmm, I got a few:

*Rumpelstiltskin (Damn crappy horror movie, but has some friggen hilarious momments)

*Tremmors, as Imrahil said, its a pretty dodgy film, with dodgy sequal's but its good fun to laugh at it.

Hmm, this is one of those threads where I know I have heaps of examples, but can't think of them...
I will update this post later when i think of them, but I would serioulsy recommend finding a copy of Rumpelstiltskin

For schmaltz factor I have to go with "Independance Day". Something about the world being taken over by aliens then saved by the US president who starts takin names and kickin ass. Can anyone visualise GDubbya or Cigar Bill doing this?

Really? You can? OK - I am outta here .

Question Mark

Anything with Freedy Kreuger, Jason, rip-offs thereof, and children's movies that insult their (the kids') intelligence.

Oh, yes...anything made by Disney! or Woody Allen.
