Oh no... Rupert?
Actually I was just reading an article about survivor in the tv guide that said the rumours were Stephenie and Bobby Jon from Palau. I liked Stephenie, but considering half the episodes in Palau could have been titled Survivor: Stephenie I am well over her. What makes them think we want to see people again anyway? Especially ones from the last season. And neither of them were actually very good at Survivor. I don't think they deserve another chance.

None of them are very good at 'Survivor'... heck, it's not like they're actually struggling to survive. It's basically a camping trip for 39 days.

I thought Steph was a great survivor. She just had a bad team. I would like to see her come back and give it a go. My fear is that she will get the vote off asap. I am sure every one else will think that she has been there once before and does not deserve another chance.

But she was part of that team and didn't do anything to fix it - she whinged a lot about them not having a leader and needing to get unified but refused to step up and try to lead them. There were a lot of crappy people on the other team as well but they had good leadership and worked together which allowed them not to suck like Steph's team did. There's three things that make someone a good survivor - making alliances, winning challenges, and not getting voted off. Steph failed at all three.

How is it that the guys go sooo dehydrated? Did the ladies drink all the water on them or something? Rule #1: Drink water
I also have a feeling that the tree that hit Blake was posionous or something...not good times. |

Maybe if the editors hadn't felt the need to give us Steph's thoughts regarding EVERYTHING and it was a bit more balanced with regard to the interviews of the other members of her tribe I wouldn't feel so annoyed by her being there. I feel like I could name at least 5 members of the other team but Steph's tribe seems to just be Steph and some short woman and that's about all I can recall.
ETA: Although, I have to say, the first episode was actually really good. Usually the first episode of these things is difficult to get through and you have to persevere until later episodes when you know who people are and stuff happens. The idea of having that initial challenge straight up was excellent - spared us the usual wandering about looking for the water source, making the shelter, 'who's being bossy' stuff that has happened on all previous first episodes. Good work guys! [ 09-16-2005, 04:40 PM: Message edited by: Aelia Jusa ]

Yeah, it was definitaly a different start, having the first challenge straight off, before anyone had a chance to do the 'meet n' greet'. I have to agree with it being tribe Steph though... glad she finally won an immunity!

Yes I agree very good start. You see Bobby. He looked in real bad shape. With the eyes rolling back and every thing. I could not imagine doing what they had to do. I mean walking in a jungle with temps at 120 and Humidity at 90-95%. You would need to drink alot of water. You actually could not carry enough. Hense they were dehydrated. But it was really cool to see the women so strong.
