"They Live". You know, the one with Rowdy Roddy Piper in it. There was a 20-minute fight scene in there, I think to just pad the movie out.

Gentlemen, I present to you the definitive BS fight scene...because clearly noone else has seen it, or has forgotten it.

Chuck Norris. American Ninja III - that's right, there were at least 3 of them.

Chuck is surrounded by ninjas on a forest path. He's unarmed I believe. They approach him one at a time, making pitiful attacks with all manner of lethal and non-lethal weaponry (including a couple of uzis, IIRC). Then comes the clencher.

One fires a bow from about 20 feet away. Chuck actually catches the arrow. But there's more...he spins around once or twice before hurling it back into the archer's chest, killing him instantly.

Chuck: 10, n00b ninjas: 0

The only thing that can rival that is any Batman TV series combat. Zammo!

Very late edit for pathetic grammar instance.

There's this japanese version of Macbeth where, near the end, Macbeth is being shot by arrows from three people, but had the same volume of arrows, basically, like from Hero, at the end. Pretty funny to watch, actually.

What about the fighting scene in which Nameless and Sky fight mentally - they have their eyes closed and the picture goes black and white and shows a fight within the fight of sorts. It wasn't like the other action scenes where they walk on water and fly and stuff. IMO, that one scene was very cool and intense.

I belive that was "Ran", or something like that. A classic.

The Matrix does include the most unrealistic fight scenes. Morpheus vs Agent Johnson on a moving semi? Yeah, right!

Actually, Steven Seagal's fights are much more realistic than anything Chuck Norris ever did.

Commando.

Raddest movie ever.

Examples of his fine B.S fighting abilities:

1-Getting attacked by 15 odd security guards and simply swatting them away (no doubt inspiring the Wachowski mamalukes for their far less impressive CGI rendtion of the same move in the Multi-Smith and Neo fight).

2-Picking up a phone booth holding a person inside and throwing the phone booth (no, he's not a superhero, he's just John Matrix (Ah-nold Governator),ex-Commando.

3-Killing 500+ people in the space of 5 minutes. Wiping EVERYONE on the "big bad enemy hide-out" out. Must be the Guiness World Rcord for Genocide.

There are many mor reasons why Commando is the daddy of all B.S fight scenes, but if you haven't seen this film you NEED to see it, so I won't spoil it.
But, it's the Matrix! Anything is possible. On a side note, those other agents actually have names? When did they ever say them?

Award for the most hillarious post goes to Lucern, totally cracked me up. Now I'll have to go and watch that movie. Personally, I would nominate the main scene from Kill Bill 1 for the title of most BS fight scene. The bride, surrounded by several dozens of sword wielding thugs, pulls a burly brawl and single handedly butchers them all with a samourai sword. The entire scene is completly over the top, with blood and body parts everywhere. And after she completly wastes the entire gang, she also manages to kill of the finest swordfighters in the world in a matter of seconds.
