I thought Underworld was pretty average tosh! It's fun enough, but the plot is a mess, the acting pretty dire. Xen mentioned Blade and Matrix, and it seems to have ripped most of its ideas from those films (plus of course Vampire and Werewolf RPGs).

The only good thing about the movie is Kate Beckinsale in her tight leather pants!

Erm..nothing was ripped from the World of Darkness, the movie was made completely under it's license and by it's definitions.

Vampire movies are just like zombies movies. You watch them for the action, nothing more.

I like the World of Darkness, I like movies with a female as the main character, and I like Kate Beckinsale, especially in leather.

So this movie has everything to please me.

Well, there isn't much more in them anyway.

I think I should just second everything Orbost said. And yes, Kate Beckinsale in leather is very nice.
