I haven't seen Ninja Scroll. I've heard it's extremely good(the movie, not the TV series).
The series are also good! They come near to the quality of the movie, style is the same and story, well, it's only 13 eps so it can't be *that* much a waste of yur time I recommend them!</font>
I once saw the 2 first episodes of it and didn't like them. I can't really remember what I disliked about it, but I simply didn't want to watch any more. Oh well, once I watch the movie and then the series, I'll probably love it. </font>
Ok , well, you should still go out and fetch yourself a copy of Seisouhen

Watched it just after Tsuioku Hen. It was cool.

By the way, I *love* Kubrick's work, especially A Clockwork Orange.

I bought Clockwork Orange, Space Odyssee and FMJ and then suddenly noticed they had the same box lay-out. I looked closer and it said 'Stanley Kubrick Collection' on all of them. So now I'm trying to find all of them for a nice collection

Sorry, about this but could someone explain what this whole Anime thing is? I hear so much about it on this and other forums but I'm not sure what it actually is.

With pleasure. Anime is, by definition, any sort of Japanese animation. The reason why they're so popular is that unlike American animations, there is a great variety of different genres of anime.

For example, the popular anime classic Neon Genesis Evangelion, made in 1995, is a parody of the Chirstian religion and uses lots of Christian metaphors. The series has 26 episodes and ends with a movie(The End of Evangelion). The second half of the movie shows colossal animations that depict the end of the world.

In any case, the popularity of anime is increasing rapidly around the world. Some American animators have even made animations that are 'anime-ish' because they use distinctive features that some popular anime have.

An interesting note that while most of the internationally popular animations that are aimed for a young audience such as Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball Z and Beyblade are also anime, they are aknowledged as the worst anime ever by most of the fans.

Zuvio, if you haven't yet, be sure to watch the Shining, Kubrick's horror movie, my favourite of the genre.

Ok, I understand all that, but to post a thread asking for that sort of thing just baffles me.

Now, there could simply be a typo and he was asking for Ultra Violet Animation!?

I hope it was something like that, 'cos I think there's plenty of violence to go around already.

Well Variol, as long as the violence stays on your monitor screen in the form of pixel sceneries and 2D animation stills, it's all good right? And that's the case 95% of the time.

uss: offcourse, the Shining, what a happy movie that was. Legendary quote:"HEEEEEEERE'S JOHNNY!!"

I do agree buddy! But we know that there are times when these fictional things become real. That's the scary part.
