Now that really is a spoiler Hierophant! The only question remaining is why exactly... There seemed to be no purpose to keeping it a secret, and as such when it was revealed it was one hell of an anti-climax.

Yeah, well I dunno if it is really that unexpected. I mean, vengeance is a huge underlying theme of the movie(s). And as most people who indulge in eye-for-an-eye come to realise, when you avenge yourself or your loved ones by killing someone, their loved ones will in turn avenge them by killing you, if they happen to be so inclined. And so the process goes on and on until someone breaks it by letting go, which I'm sure you don't ned me to tell you (but I just did )

"It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'. When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting."

Upon hearing her say that, I figured there's no way The Bride is going to walk away from this without ultimately bringing vengeance down upon herself.

Still, if Tarantino does as good a job with this planned sequel as he has done with Kill Bill, then I'll eagerly await it.

No, I meant giving her name. Its purposefully bleeped out of the first film and most of the second for some unknown reason. I could understand in the first he was trying to make a point about how little characters mattered in this kind of story, but then in the second film he had to make it character based and therefore kind of had to drop that idea. It just made the whole look even more incoherent and rambling than it needed to be...

Oh ok. So you think revealing her name was supposed to be a big deal then? I just never picked up on it really mattering.

Eh, I didn't like it that much. There wasn't nearly enough sword fighting...I mean, she and El START to fight, then she cuts it short when she plucks out her eye *sigh* and I was looking forward to some awesome sword fight between Beatrix and Bill but NOOOO she had to do the five step heart explosion whatever move on him. BOO

Too much dialoug, especially in the beginning during the wedding rehersal all I remember was thinking, "DAMMIT when is the SHOOTING going to start!"

I blame it on the fact that there was so much gore in the first one I was expecting vol.2 to be the same *shrug* so was naturally dissapointed.

There were some good parts though. I enjoyed the black mumba scene, and the part wheres shes at Pi Na's or whatever his name is.
