I plan on seeing it, I know I tend to agree with most of hollywood.com's reviews, and they compare the movie, as an adaptation of a comic, on par with spiderman and x-men, I'm not expecting it to be as good, since I don't know the characters, or the books as intimately as I did the x-men, or spiderman, but it promises to be a very fun movie.

Saw it with my wife on monday... we both enjoyed it.

Deep Plot? - Nope
"Touchy Feely" character interaction - a bit... but not enough to hold it against em.
Funny - Hell Yea
Action - Hell Yea
Dead stuff - Hell Yea
Fiery explosions - Hell Yea
Evildoers - You bet

Worth seeing at the movies? - Sure, compared to the other options out there right now it's a slam dunk.

Don't take the kids though... way to graphic for the wee ones.

I saw the movie and I have to say that it's absoloutely AWESOME The plot was a bit rough but everything else is great! And has some comedy.

Saw it this afternoon & really enjoyed it. Maybe if I'd read the comic beforehand & knew something about the characters I would've been more critical. Since I wasn't comparing what's onscreen to any prior knowledge (I never even heard of this guy before the movie) I had a good time.

Hm...when I first read this thread I wasn't going to see it, but now I think I might. I've always liked that kind of film, so maybe it is worth a seeing.

Wow Dundee! Posting outside the BG2 forum? This is a first I've seen you do that!

If you have not seen the movie already see it now!
