first what "time" are u plannin for as in Before war wizards went down or after. if after, befor richy or after. if before, befor the barriers went up or after.

So far I've read all the books 'cept for Naked Empire, so I'll decide whether to place the storyline after that or Pillars of Creation.
What about spells. Stuff like "Lurch"(Pillars of Creation, Zedd throws a chair at Jansen), "Wizards Fire", "Fire", "Believe"(Wizard's First Rule, Zedd convinces a bunch of people that they're eunuchs. It would be hard to do with a skill, so I decided for a spell), "Illusion Stage"(Wizard's First Rule, Shota made Richard think he's fighting Zedd) and that sort of thing. So fell free to talk about anything that can help me or you and is related to the Sword of Truth campaign settingTM.

just decide now naked empire won't change anything it's mostly a side story, just something to give Terry Goodkind more time to get with the real story.
magic items/magic needs: sun box sword of truth 'from evil seeker if before richy and after barriers went up' chimes spell make hard to get all light spells make hard to get mriswith cape yabree magic boxs of ordan'correct if wrong' book of counted shadows plus language spells, anything else they find in the Keep and more............... monsters: short haired gar long haired gar dragon (if beaten give u dragon tooth)'can call dragon any time ten times' mriswiths slides dreamwalkers snake vines sisters of dark sorccers wizard'1 class 2nd and 3rd then taught subtractive, then war wizard and more [ 12-06-2003, 04:10 PM: Message edited by: Tasslehoff Burrfoot ]

This is all during Richard, Jagang and the lot, so there'll be no war wizards and dream walkers 'cept for those two.
How do you like the Sword of Truth like this: Bastard Sword Damage: 1d10 +10 Attack bonus: +15 Damage type: slashing When the sword is held in hand, the wielder is enraged(tireless barbarian rage). When the wielder kills the first enemy with the sword in an encounter, he must make a Will save or go berserk. After the encounter the wielder must spend 1d12 rounds concentrating, after which he makes a Will save to avoid going insane for 1d6 weeks. Smite Evil infinite number of times per day. Cannot accidentally hit a friendly character. Adds 25 to magic resistance. Deals additional 1d10 magic damage to evil creatures. Owner must make sure it is free in it's scabbard once a day(just kidding). Weight: 8 lb

I think any weapon over +5 has no place in a setting rooted in D&D (it looks like you're adapting from 3E) unless the game is hackmaster which is itself a spoof of AD&D. a +5 weapon is an artifact level weapon in it's own right, make it +5 to hit/+5dam (+10 to whatever it's designed to kill) and then give it the rest of teh powers listed.

Yeah, I've contemplated that(+5 normal, +10 evil), but then I had a look at every holy avenger and concluded that the Sword of Truth is better than that. And they get it late in the game, only for a short time. And I'll put damage bonus at +5, attack +10. And yes, I love 3E rules and system. I know it by heart.
