The latest drizzit book is called 1000 orcs. it was alright but i can't wait for the otherss to come out. I personally think that the books after legacy of the drow. Silent blade and the like sucked. What they did to some of the characters made me so mad. it was almost like in vector prime when they killed chewie. execpt i actually stopped reading that book for a while. anyways thats waht it hink.

Well you see I only liked the first book after that was over I was very excited to go to the next one. Halfway through I absolutely hated it. Everytime I read a book I can just not put it down because I am always curious to find out what the ending is like. I just wanted to finish it all very quickly to read the Legacy of the Drow. (That trilogy was OK) Right now I am going to get the Silent Blade.

For more details on the worst salvatore books go here http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...;f=11;t=001071

I read the first two books in the Dark Elf trilogy. I didn't like them at all, too much fortunate coincedences for characters, it's not exciting anymore. I had to start over 3 times before I read it through and that was only cause I found Drizzt in Baldur's Gate 2 and it was totally not worth the time and effort to read it

Starlight & Shadows? It's Elaine Cunningham's venture into drow territory Really though, I've only just started, but her drow protagonist seems a lot more interesting than Drizzt.
