Maybe you should add a healer I could provide you with the script, if you like. Some more conversation would be cool too. Level 3 is really one of my favourites, and I'd love to get to know more about all of the exit creatures you run into. Kind of reminds me of the famous bar scene in Star Wars IV.

Heck yeah it is. Elminster is close to 40, but he is a Chosen of Mystra.

Last time I played a 30+ level character was in Pools of Darkness -- the goldbox game!
Like I feared it's getting kind of ridiculous. The level cap is feckin' now 60!!.

Nu uh, look at this excerpt from a Stratics interview with the Bio people.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question from *Xel*
With regards to epic levels; what will the new maximum level be, and what is the reasoning for this particular cap?

BioWare Response
BioDarcy
We've raised the cap to 40 for Hordes, however the toolset will support up to 60th.

BioTrent
60th level, bloody hell man

BioJay
60? Really? Cripes.

BioTom
almost me-like.

BioDarcy
The reasoning is that in a 20-35 hour game we couldn't hope to get the player to anything close to 60th, so we developed the skills and feats for 40th

BioDarcy
but dm's can go nuts after that.

The level 60 cap isn't accessible to players only to mod builders, or should I say monster makers. The cap for players is still 40.

Right but there's a level cap removal option which just makes things insanely uber .

As I said already, those are not real levels, they are a lot less powerfull than regular one.

The difference between a level 20 character and a level 30 one is not that big. Don't let the big numbers scare you.

Let's use a tank for an example here, if i dump the lvls between 20 and 30 into a straight fighter, will i still get the four additional feats?

I posted some quotes from the Epic Level Handbook here. Let's move any epic level discussion over there.
