like warcraft II, but better, heh. i heard that WCIII actually sucks, so im not going to spend ANOTHER $60 on a game that i wont play. maybe if i get more good feedback than bad, i might give it a shot.

Thats the best thing to do, in my opinion. I play a few games at the same time, just so I don't get bored of one from too much game play..

Right now, my poisons are NWN, Morrowind, Arcanum, and Gorasal...

Each game has something different to offer, depending upon my mood...

Hell, what are some of you people gonna do when IceWind Dale 2 comes out in a coupla weeks...

But since I've beaten NWN three times already (three level 20s), its starting to get a little boring. I think I'll move on to WC3 for a while and keep checking this forum to see if anyone has made a really good campaign to play through.

Its kind of sad that I was waiting on this game for several years and I'm already moving on after less than a month...
Finished it three times already!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you've lost any semblance of a social life already.
It actually doesn't take long to do at all. In about six hours you can get to level 10. One day, halfway there. I haven't been working that much lately, so I still have plenty of other hours in the day for a social life.

If you're worried about your NWN playing time suffering because of WCIII, thief, just go on to bnet and get hero rushed a couple times. It'll kill your appetite for the game and drive you back to NWN. That's what happened to me and I'm a huge RTS freak. I'm wearing a starcraft shirt right now in fact.

I don't really like WCIII, Morgan. I think you've heard correctly. Stay tuned to your normally scheduled programming until Age of Mythology comes out.

just beat warcraft3
i LOVED it
it was absolutely hilarious with regards to some of the things the units say when you click on them.
the troll witch doctor has an IC reference, and the dryad has an attraction reference hehe

though, i gota say i liked the video where you defeat the guardian who held a blood pact with the orcs more than the ending video where you defeat the legions god.

Errr getting to level 20 is NOT the point of the game, and if you have finished it 3 times in a month of playing then Ill bet my glass eye you missed most of the content of the game. RPG are not RTS and not ment for just breezing thru as fast as humanly possible..there are stories and plot lines out side the bare minimum.....of course I do understand RTS fans are usualy the fast and furious type and not of an RP mentality.
Exactly. That's why I was shocked he's level 20 three times already. I'm nearly at the end after about thirty hours. And I've still missed some side quests. No wonder you're bored. You've been missing half the game.

I don't think he would be any less bored if he had done the side quests, My brother is a RTS kiddie and when he saw the game his reply was...oh wow..thats way too much reading. Serious RTSers Arent going to really get into RPG's just too big a difference in game play.

URG!!!!!!!You guys should have discussed this topic long ago!!!I had a conflict that day whether i should buy Warcraft III or Dungeon Siege, and regretfully, i chose DS!!!!Now i'm really sick of that game cause it SUCKS so BAD!!!Microsoft doesn't know how to make any rpgs so just tell them to continue on their AOEIII or flight simulator or something like that!!!Now i can't afford WCIII after i bought DS, and i don't even want to talk about it anymore!!!
