Or clinging on to old, superflous roleplaying stereotypes on exactly what a class had to do.
A high dex fighter would be the best way to go. However, if you plan on multiclassing into a spellcasting class I suggest you do it earlier than 9th level. The proportional gains of each level of fighter is much lower compared to what the extra levels in wizard/sorcerer would get. There is also no reason you should wait until you're 9th level to begin down that path; early access to a summoned companion and mage armor could help such a character a lot. |
