In re: assassins, a character of any class may become an assassin, if he holds the dagger. And you can make all six of your party into assassins if you trade off the dagger to the characters while Bratsol is busy blathering.

You can only make all your party assassins if you are NOT using the patch.

.... Or contact me!

We know for a fact that this game was rushed and that many things that had been planned were left out. Came down to the point where there just wasn't the money available to do more which is a great shame! Still considering this sizable handicap, it is a wonderful game, certainly one of the best RPGs I've played in a while. Really don't understand why RPGs are not more popular - to me they have always been the most fun! Was a special treat to find that this one was also very replayable which I never found to be true of the M&M games.

Wow, none of my other characters could become an Assassin, must have been because it was so early in the game, huh!? And I wasn't smart enough to hang on to that WONDERFUL dagger either. Man, that was the best weapon in the whole game, wasn't it?!

Restarted six times, mortification! LOL well you are savoring the game, aren't you. That's cool! So how far has your "super party" gone? Are they to Brimloch Roon yet, or where?

Hang in there, much to do in this game!
Good times to you,

Spoiler alert (for those who don't want to know about having multiple Assassins)

Mammawlin,

You hangning to that dagger or not being that far in the game had nothing to do with it. Here's how to have multiple assassins:

Solution 1 (requires to be "unpatch")

1- After you've acquired the Assassin Dagger, go to the Thief Guild.
2- Once in the Guild, go to the inventory of the caracter carrying the Assassin Dagger.
3- When the guild master is talking, move the dagger to another character.
4- Once your character becomes an Assassin, change to the character who now carries the Assassin dagger.
5- Repeat steps 2-5 until all you characters are Assassins.

Note: I never used this trick, so if I made a mistake, could someone please correct. Also, if you like that dagger, make sure to give it to another character on your last change.

Solution 2: (if you are patched or missed Scantril)

Contact Wyvern. She will then use her very special "talents" to make you an assassin (or pretty much anything else for that matter).

Note: once again, never use... Wyv, this one is now yours

Well, the "super party" hasn't made it past the crypt yet...I'm still working out the details of the proper sequencing for the Wizard characters. What's interesting is that the disticntion between classes becomes very blurred once you've switched roles a few times and are high enough level.

Still a great game. Are there plans for a sequel, or is that Wizardry 8? It also seems like they didn't do much beta-testing on this one....what about next time? Seems like with some of the comments that I'v read on this board you've got enough of a beta-testing pool right here. With just a few simple tweaks this game would be 5 starts, out-of-sight.

Once again, I totally agree with you, mortification! This game could have been so much more "out-of-sight" awesome - and as good as it is - that's pretty awesome, huh!? There have been long discussions about how to improve it and if there are any plans for a sequel coming. We all agree that we would happily give all our suggestions to the creators, but it seems to be a negative on a WW2. Too bad I would love to see it happen.

Lots still to do for you then! Many things to do in the crypt and surrounding areas. God speed to you and your "super party". Love to hear how you are doing and where you are in the game.

Oh, and big thanks to you, Ryanamur, for that great information!

They can't ignore the success of this game, even if it limited (well they CAN but we will hope that they will notice)...lots of people have bought it second hand and I am sure they would purchase a sequel new!

I would definitely love to play any sequel of w&w. Gael serran has captured my imagination, and I would enjoy learning more of its story and its people.
