Have you forgotten there are 4 quick-weapon slots you can use?Monk is also proficient with several weapons at start,mainly with axes,which is perfect against zombies.

D'oh, I've forgot that. but won't the monk lose his special bonus that monks only have when he use weapon?

I do not know which one you mean-maybe stunning blow with fists-but it's no matter.There were not many monsters in the game I was forced to switch weapons against, e.g. finishing trolls. I just killed Isair using bastard sword +5, I don't know its name but it's cool even if I wasn't proficient with. {It took about 15 quick-loads-oh my nerves!}

I don't konw about only playing one character but i really like playing the evil characters lawful good or something liket that. like the drow and the awesmari, yes i spelt it wrong, and the druegar. it think it adds a twiest to it

anyone think a fighter can finish the game? I've been out more than 2000 days and haven't entered underdark...I think I've used 400+ healing pots...anyway...now he's down to 41 armour class, without any spell, 43 with prot. from evil ring

and I haven't even maxed my dex...are there any nice dagger i can use because my high dex comes with a nice weapon finesse [img]smile.gif[/img] a lvl 30 fighter wielding dagger [img]smile.gif[/img] now that's a thought [img]smile.gif[/img]

yes, a single fighter can finish the game. just make sure that he is evil alignment.

I bought IWD2 yesterday, played up to the dam bit (very early) with a balanced 6 party, just to get a hang of the different rules (it's very different to 2nd Ed rules huh), and then started again this morning with a 2 person party. I've got a Human male barbarian, and a human female thief. Inspired by Thagor from (can't remember author's name sorry) the 'Otherland' series. It's not that hard because you level up quickly, and don't have so many people to worry about (but I've done BG2 solo, so that helps)

EDIT: Tad Williams is the author (thanks yahoo)
