ah kk... with BG2 I remeber it was possible editing some 2di files or somesuch using a simple text editor, even notepad... isnt anything like that in IWD?

I must admit I do not know,but if anyone out there does know, then let me know what to do, and my wife(she is the computer whizz, not me)will be able to sort it.

I meant 2da files.

Go to your IWD directory, see if there is a file with extension 2da, its name something referring to the cap (could be like xpcap.2da). MAKE BACK UP COPY OF IT FIRST, then try editing it with notepad.

There appears to be lots of file relating to xp/level and I wonder if everyone has stopped levelling because my fighter has reached his maximum of 8,000,000 xp therefore not allowing anyone else to progress beyond that, its just a shot in the dark. I have tried to play around with the 2da files mentioning xp/level with no joy at present. I have tried to increase the amount required for the fighter to reach level 40,no joy. I have tried to "make a level 41" for everyone, no joy. so any more suggestions appreciated.

I did a search for xpcap.2da files with no results, the only files are the ones that I sent to you,but I do not think they will be of any use.
