Try using the detect traps spell - it won't disarm the traps but at least you can avoid stepping on them. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Hey Jizu, I must admit I was much like yourself at one time, playing the BG series and my first run of IWD with exactly the same party: 1 pal, 1 fighter, 1 mage, 1 mage/thief, 1 cleric, 1 cleric/fighter. Same party every time. But Iwd finally got me out of that. If you want to try using other party combos, especially the druid and bard, IWD is a great game to try that with. I found it to be much more forgiving than the BG series when it came to my style of play. My second time around I actually went with four characters, a big step for me [img]smile.gif[/img]
On the down side, my mages never achieved the power that they had in BG, but I also think the gameplay would have been off balance if they had.
