Try stashing stuff in chests and bookcases and the like and retrieve them later. Some of the dungeons are very short of such storage places (such as DOrn's deep proper), so you are going to have to leave some loot behind unfortunately. It's just unavoidable. Prioritize what you keep and what you leave behind. There just isn't anyway around this.

Gem bags CAN be used to store magical rings and amulets though - so you can use those for that. Also, keep your BIG stacks of gems in your inventory and keep the small stacks in the gem bag. That is actually more space efficient. You can stack up to 20 gems in one inventory slot and that would totally fill one bag. Do the same with potions.

I really like zakharak's idea. I had been stuffing things in chests in Dragon's Eye, but never thought of pigeon-holing stuff in the villagers' shelves back in Kuldahar. Great idea: I'll try it!

The Jester's Bag is dropped by the Worg Trainer in the Severed Hand - second level I believe on the left hand side.

How do i miss those things?? I plunder everything in my path and check every piece of dust on the entire map, and i missed that jesters bag?? i could definately put some things in that.

*sigh* oh well, i guess that i will have to... oh wait, i need to go back there anyway to give birds, water, and some other stuff to that wizard dude.

Hey NobleNick, glad to help, How do you like Severed Hand? I found it to be the most amusing level. Ok bro, talk to you later

See ya's

Whats up with those 'undead Brothers' in Lower Deep Dorn's Deep? Really hard, man

Uh Zak,

You misunderstood about the Jester's Bag ... it doesn't function as a container like a gem bag does. You can NOT put items IN, only take random items OUT! It is not going to help your storage problems. Sorry.

The Bag of Holding in SoA is actually a .sto file (it's like a little transportable store). You can't just copy the SoA .sto file because IWD and SoA are not the same game.

I've never actually thought about converting it to IWD - there's little inconsistencies in the engine which can put you off track if you're not careful...

Memnoch,

thanks for the info.

I think J'aran actually suggested extracting it from BG2.

A real bag of holding does appear in TOL (actualy, two of them). SO, if you have ToL installed, you should be able to use the cheat codes to "summon" one early in the game.
