Well right now I don't know for sure. After marching around I started following the book.
Stone pillar, check. First Demon nest, Check. Dead Magic room, check. Secubus room, check. Last Demon Nest, Check. Rune Pillar room, Check. Tiefling room, Check. Now comes the problem, I goofed the map. One time I again went west and found myself back at the compass room where I suddenly walked back up one level. Another time I went north at Thiefling to get to a room with a dead tree full of demon knights. I then went north one more time and got wacked by wraiths. If this is the last point before the move to the next level you miss the live tree and the wild magic imps. I Will reboot and try again this time with Aerie and her False dawn spells. |

It's strange because I always follow Yakman's journal to the letter (starting back at the beginning if I goof up) and I have never had trouble finding all the gems, and I always run into both groups of demons.
Maybe I'll take my solo mage/cleric down to WK to check this out for myself...

I finished up level 3 last night (took a break to do some of the ToB quests) and after the Demon Knights and the Wraiths I believe you go north one more time.
I followed the book...but it still gets confusing. It really sucks b/c one mistake and you gotta start over... |

I'm out too, but I did not go through the room with the wild magic when following the book. No matter, I am on the 4th level after gambling with a cambian friend of Hare Daelis. Now just to find the second half of the Mind Flayer key and I'm done with this level. I'll search the back postings.
