Nope, physical damage works as well. It is just that the CDemon has 90% resistance to all types of physical damage. However, Harm ignores all that and reduces it to 1 HP. You can literally then just poke the CDemon and watch it curl up and die crying.

So does that mean Harm does physical damage and not magical? Seems logical.

How Harm works is that is reduces your life to 1 HP. It does not matter what kind of damage it deals, because it reduces your life, not deducts from it.

Dundee, I love it that you always have the funniest way to kill a monster in this game. Once I figured out what spells worked against what form I did all right and killed the schizoid demon. I wish I had seen your way to do it first. After all the lower resistance I could always use your favorite spell technique and polymorph him into a squirrel, cast harm, and have everybody chase him around with hammers until somebody hit.

masteraleph, not everybody is as serious a gamer as yourself. For the casual gamer, who doesn't know/use the best techniques; using insane level would be insane. [img]smile.gif[/img] That is why we also need help from more experienced gamers such as yourself.

I didnt have any trouble with the Demon, but my party was a whole lot stronger than yours...

Me lvl Thief 15/Mage top lvl
Imoen 21
Sarevok 23
Kaldorn 22
Minsc 22
Anomen 23

And we just bashed it too death while My player and Imoen casted spells it was real simple, oh i changed weapons a couple of time to suit the from it was in.
