Heh, an interesting point of view, Indemaijinj. I guess Bhaal's essence and blood counts more than Avariel blood, so the child will become much more the PC's child than Aerie's.

@Daan, . I wish the baby would have some fun abilities or something, but all it really does is to lie in Aerie's backpack (read: inventory), and is unremoveable.
As for Aerie complaining after the birth, I atleast haven't witnessed something like that. Come to think of it, I've never experienced any dialogues after Quayle is born. Anything fun, DS?

When you become a god, do you reckon you could help your familiar become a demi-god of some sort?

I'd love to see a demigod ferret dashing up peoples trousers and mauling them

(in fact, I would PAY to see that)

Question: what is a "demi" god, or a "demi" anything for that matter?

Simply put, a Demi God is a very powerful creature, who is near God-status. Think of it as a ladder, whereof Greater Powers is the most powerful, Intermediate Powers after that, then Lesser Powers, and then we have the Demi Gods. Those who belong in the greater, intermediate and lesser powers-categories are all gods.

Simply put, Demi-gods are nearly as powerfl as gods, but can still walk on the Prime Material without an avatar form.

Yeah, but they have a much harder time picking up the hot Astral chicks in bars: "Hey babe, I just happen to be a demigod."
She looks you up & down, notices the lack of (flaming hair / gigantic glowing spear / lightning flashing from eyes) and says, "Pfft. Demi." and her girlfriends all start giggling. Talk about a drag.....

As a matter of fact, that's why Waukeen disappeared, too. Couldn't get any respect. Having red hair is good, but let's face it, being the Goddess of Commerce is about as sexy as an internship in an accounting firm.

Ok, now I know what a "demigod is, but what about a "demi-lich"? Would that just be a lich that is near the god status?
and if you reach level 30 and when it says that your next level is "godhood", are you basically a demigod?

(sorry if im getting this post off topic)

Heh - the way they typically use the term, it should mean "a bit of a lesser Lich", but a demi-lich is one whose body has completely decayed & is now (somehow) more powerful. It's kind of like the next step after becoming a Lich - more deadly & more invulnerable.

Back to Aerie's pregnancy, though... Anyone ever told her Quayle was a bad name? How about reacting poorly to the news that she was pregnant? I've run through it that far with her twice, & been nice about it both times, but was very curious as to what would happen if you told her "get lost, mommy" or said that Quayle was a bad name - do you get to pick another one?
