I knew I forgot one

Does anyone have numbers on the chances of getting the rest option at 24 and 25 wisdom ... Trying to decide if wearing the ioun stone ( obtaining 25 wis. ) has more benefits than equiping that necklace that gives some more lvl 7 and 8 spells ..

So . . . anyone know ?

Having 25 Wisdom gives you one extra 6th and 7th level spell (in addition to those you'd have with 24 Wisdom), on top of the extra point of Wisdom for affecting wish results...

Personally I'd go for that

? The Netheril Circlet grants Wizards an additional 7th and 8th level spell plus 10 Hp. 25 WIS grants Priests an additional 6th and 7th spell. I say go for the Circlet if you are a Cleric/Mage. Only use the Ioun Stone if you are a Priest-type character.

18 WIS is more than sufficient for your Wish needs. People need to stop confusing the spell benefits of WIS. It only affects Priests, not Mages.

Don't the 8th level cleric spells count much as the 10th level mage spells? i.e. require 7th level/9th level slots?

Priests do not get 8th Level Spells, they do however, get Quest Spells which occupy their 7th Level Spell Slots.
