oh, come on! not that bad!? i loved ToB and i thought that you, fellow BG fans, would like it more. and galadria, i really hope you were joking. i think it was good that the game desingers were concentrating in making the main plot most intresting. though i haven`t tried TDD, i don`t think it would get near the excellence of this game.

I enjoyed ToB, but felt like some of the others here that it was a little to linear. I guess I am just harping because they didn't do a full game for the final installment of the series.

I have played through some of TDD and so far, it is a pretty good mod. enough new stuff to peak my interest. But it doesn't really alter that much except some new NPC's quests, and monsters. But any excuse to play through the game again.

I liked ToB, but now after finishing it I'm feeling a bit anti-climaxed. Yes, it had *lots* of fighting (I'm not the biggest fan of battle after battle after battle, but hey, it was prophesised), yes the romance developed, some of the other characters talked to each other too, including Minsc asking Aerie about a rash (ooer).

I did WK in ToB cuz I bou ght them seperately (and took so long to do SoA I had to buy SoA and ToB combined cuz I c ouldnt get ToB on its own *mutter*) which was a nice distraction, but fightfightfight mostly. I got right to the end, ploughing on even though by halfway through fighting Mellisan it was more determination to see what happened more than love for the game.

And then I saw what happened to each of my chars, battled again, took the other path and still felt hollow. To sum up, I'd rather play SoA again that ToB (which I'm d oing just now - whether or not I then take my evil party to ToB is unknown yet).
