Yes, and yes.

It may be a bug, it may be an "undocumented feature", it may be a rule change that they didn't bother to tell anyone about, but a cleric/ranger has access to all druidic and clerical spells. Dual class has to wait until he gets back his ranger powers, I think, but that might be wrong.

If you have ToB, though, you ought to do multi-class. Greater Whirlwind is a powerful tool [img]smile.gif[/img] and rangers can only have two stars in each weapon, so you don't lose grandmastery like fighters do.

might be kick but char. but could it solo, and and spell protections how do they fair when a lvl 34 pali equiped with the mighty casomyr(dispel magic each hit)with strnadard immunity to +1 weapons and below so all summoned creatures are useless.if you can beat that then i know you can beat the game solo. if i had to pick multi class it would be a fighter cleric, like anomen that way when you get to the higher lvls not only do you got healing and other good cleric spells but you got GWA with your fighter

Why are we fighting against the Paladin? Anyway, anybody can get the immunity to +1 enchanted weapons and below.

This is where I start questioning your credibility. Anomen is a Dualclassed Fighter->Cleric.

Ranger/Clerics will be superior to Fighter/Clerics, because the Ranger class for multiclass characters, has everything the Fighter class has, plus Druid spells, including GWW.
