Yes, it's easy to make fun about someone, of whom you have no clue. It always amused me, to see how the people who claim to know Viconia so well, have learnt her so well, so easily and obviously totally mislook Anomen. They just hear his couple of lines and that's it - he's a sucker and arrogant - which he in a way may be - and refuse to see past it. But then some twisted blonde girl comes along and they start "researching" her and in the end, claim to know so much? Bah..

Read this topic for example. It's somewhat lost in the load of other topics, but it's just few examples to you, "oh so well knowledgeable people". And no, I am no fan of Anomen. I am no fan of Jaheira/Aerie/Viconia/Keldorn/enter the name here either. I use all of them - yes, use - as much as is needed for me, once they lose their usefulness, I get rid of them. Those of them, of ANY NPC chars in the game, who can be further useful, I will keep with me. However, it always amuses me to no end to see many claim to know NPC's so well and yet make so obvious mistakes regarding others. Hopefully it's only something, which occurs in the game, as in RL such mistakes would whack back harder.

And as for Imoen female only romance, becaue 'Irenicus tortured her and "something more"' - Irenicus didn't give a damn about Imoen for "something more", so this is ridiculous. He may have been a twisted person, but he was no weirdo. He knew what he wanted, how to achieve it, everything else had little to no meaning for him. He had a VERY clear goal, VERY clear means, and he was devoted to that and that only. But then again, it's your time and you are entirely entitled to do whatever you want with it. To me personally this new 'romance' already sounds too weird, so I am not going to even try it, when it's out.

Actually Whaillor, I don't care whether you do or not. I have had Anomen in my party all the way through, and hated it. I know all the things that you say in his favor, and still disagree totally. I've met his drunken father, helped him get his (undeserved) knighthood, and still loathed him. I kept him in my party becasuse I thought him useful, but then, when he left the second time I went through, to fight Saerk, then I realised how relieved that I was not to have him around. So, don't say that I don't understand the creep. He is still foul mannered and arrogant, no matter what his childhood is like. Like it or not, most people make decisions about others based on their manner, so get over it. Play your game and I'll play mine.

First, I hate Anemone because he is a pompous boor. Second I hate the fact that out of all the male characters, the only romance I get is with the pompous boor. Hell even trying to get Yoshimo to betray Irenicus by using sex would be better than listening to Annoying Anemone..Third, and I am remembering that this is just a game, who the hell cares what his childhood is like? We all make choices. Quit making excuses for Anemone. He has his choices. He can take what life has dished out and move forward, or, he can act like a whiny idiot and not get any in my game.

Amen, Tanoch. By the way, Aerie and Viconia had horrible childhoods, and that doesn't stop them from being fun tohave in your party.

Thanks for making that comment Memnoch. I removed one of my replies because someone thought I was too loud. Sorry, I had my keyboard set to "Caps Lock". I was not intentionally being loud, so I removed that "loud" comment. I felt I was being dissed. P.S. - Thanks for helping out the newbie who had a question about "Viconia, Saravok, Anamon, and other minor issues etc." You seem to appear at the right moment, like an Overseer.

How do you get the Imoen romance to start?Does the romance require a fast rescue from Spellhold?
Also add some conflict with someone other than Anomen!How about Jaheira?What would a druid think of the relationship between you and your "sister"?
