I thought on the pack of ToB, it says: "The Final Chapter",
so, I think there is no more! ![]() ------------------ Must know that in circumstance of one's birth, is irrelevant to represent yourself. It is what you do in your life, that determines who you are......... so sayeth the God of Wisdom-Zhipei ![]() |

If Bioware wanted they could make another bg but it would probably not have anything to do with the Bhall saga and you would start back at level one (a game similar to bg1)

Hey... Baldur's Gate 3 IS indeed coming out. It's called BG3: Dark Alliance. it's due in the beginning of november.....the thing is its coming out on PS2 only, i think, it's a lot different, has nothing to do with the infinity engine, and from what i hear you can only be a fighter, mage, or cleric.....graphically, it looks okay, but i extremely doubtful that it will live up to the BG namesake, all things considered. the only similarity it will have w/ preceding BG games is that it takes place in the city of Baldurs Gate.
i didn't know they were making an Icewind Dale 2....i hope they make it a lot better than IWD 1 was (all hack-n-slash, monster after monster after monster, and boringly linear).....they should take a cue from BG2 and Throne of Bhaal and make the next IWD a lot more involved and not ALL HACK 'N SLASH!!!!!!! dark alliance looks more like a solo hack-em-up from what ive seen, but i didnt like the look of it so i didnt probe to far. PS2 only? bioware have turned to the dark side then. shame, but they have to die now.
at least one other bhallspawn had kids tho (or so my shadowkeeping tells me) but your one is optional (and how do you do that in game time anyway?) so they could have a game bases on the bhallspawn-spawn. IWD was crap because it was made by biowares second team. hopefuly they'll take a lessone from the first team and get it right this time. maybe on the NWN engine, i doubt there will be any more infinity. |

I read a rumor on rpgvault.ign.com that bioware is going to make one more Infinity Engine game, due to popular demand. I, for one, hope its based on the Planescape world, but I kind of doubt it. It will likely be IWD 2... Still, if its based on 3rd Ed. rules, it could be fun.

Neverwinter Nights, using the 3D Aurora Engine, is the next big Bio project and if they do a really good job with the module creation tools it will revolutionize multiplayer and give players the opportunity for endless adventures in true D&D style. ------------------ ![]() ![]() [This message has been edited by Memnoch (edited 10-30-2001).] |

That new engine do u have a link there i can read about it???
Just a question... What du u think of a big game with a end boss that u can go to after a couple of chapters or something and if u dont want to meet him he will get more and more powerful as urself and there is a lot of places to go to and those who are making the game are keeping making new enemys, items and places and u'll upgrade throu the internet whit patches Why isnt there any like that out there it would be very nice game, maby it will cost much making but it would be a cool game. |

anyone know if you'll be able to import your BG2 characters into NWN or IWD2?
