Okay, now will someone please explain to me why the *.jpg that I'M hosting on MY website to use as MY sig can be viewed from ANYwhere on the web--except from this forum.

Go ahead, click the link. It won't work. And my sig, which uses the same URL, claims that the picture's a dead link. But wait! If you cut & paste the URL into your address bar, it WILL work. And now, once you've brought the cookie of the picture into your computer, my sig suddenly isn't a dead link anymore. What the F*!^?

Insert it into your signiture without the .jpg on the end...just put:

http://www.geocities.com/sixospades/images/misc/sig

That should work.

EDIT-I dont think it does acutally....hmmm, ill suss this!!

[EDIT] Nope, it still sucketh. I think it's some friction between the Ironworks server and my Geocities server or something....maybe I could try hosting it somewhere else and see if that makes a difference.

I know that there is some problems between the IW server and the angelfire server, so it might be like that. I think they just dont like you calling the image from their site.

I don't know if you're already doing this, but you could just use html tags. That's what I do. If you're already doing that, never mind. If you're not, I could send you the html in a text document.

It says that you are not allowed to use the html in sigs...read the passage nxt to it.

But SOS, you can try if you want to, if Kat says it works.

And I think SOS already knows html, its just an img tag...

I'm just saying that you can't use html in your sigs (which is offering a valid point, hence not answering for him), and can only use UBB....and knowing SOS quite well, I know he can use html (hopes).

You're quite right. But I wasn't trying to be picky when I corrected mistakes, I just pointed out to foreigners, who are learning English.

It's called "helping them learn to speak English". Considering I come from the aforementioned England, and am studying A-level English, I don't think you can really criticise me can you?

Considering A-levels are hardest qualifications in the world to obtain.....

Can I ask how old you are Kat?
